It was nothing but joy all around for Fashion Star mentor Jessica Simpson who delivered her second child on June 30 ? a son she named Ace Knute, with her fianc? Eric Johnson. Ace joins big sister Maxwell Drew, 14 months.
Our readers went gaga over Holly Madison's 18-carat engagement ring, a yellow diamond surrounded by pink and yellow diamond flowers and even a tiny owl, designed in part by her fianc? Pasquale Rotella, who proposed atop a Ferris wheel in Las Vegas.
Readers were angered by Alec Baldwin after the actor tweeted homophobic and profane rants directed at a British journalist who claimed his wife Hilaria had sent out her own "upbeat" tweets while they attended the funeral of James Gandolfini in New York. Baldwin later apologized, closing his account and saying he was done tweeting for good.
Cirque du Soleil performer Sarah (Sassoon) Guyard fell to her death after a wire holding her aloft snapped while performing at the MGM Grand's Ka show. The accident saddened readers as the artist became the famed acrobatic company's first death in its 30-year history.
